Schools and workshops

Microanalysis in the electron microscope, 30 June 2009

The Advanced topics in SEM and TEM course was in the form of a series of lectures by visitors.

My contribution on analysis was in room 127, (building 307) from 1000 to 1200 and from 1330 to 1530. It was a relatively comprehensive course covering EDX and EELS in SEM and TEM from the basics to advanced level.

FIMIN workshop, 31 May to 4 June 2010

An introduction to electron microscopy.

Lecture slides and other downloads for the workshop

Advanced electron microscopy, September 2010

This is a special topics course given by people in CEN and other DTU departments.

The first lecture takes place on Thurs 16 Sept and will be on "Microanalysis in the electron microscope".

Two handouts are available (both as pdf files):

Lecture notes (based on course given in Cambridge in 2002 and thus slightly out of date)

Lecture slides (as used in the lectures).
